Our Journey

A History Built on Flavor

From a family kitchen to a New England institution — trace the milestones that shaped Papa Ginos into what it is today.

1993

The First Kitchen Opens

Founder Gino Marchetti opens a small family trattoria in Raynham, Massachusetts, drawing on his grandmother's recipes brought from Naples, Italy. Word spreads quickly about the exceptional hand-tossed pizza.

1998

The Menu Expands

Responding to overwhelming customer love, Papa Ginos introduces a full Italian menu — handmade pastas, calzones, and hearty subs — cementing its identity as a true Italian family restaurant.

2005

Community Recognition

Papa Ginos wins the "Best Local Restaurant" award in Bristol County for the first time, a recognition earned again in 2007, 2010, and 2015. Community events and catering services begin.

2012

New State Highway Location

Papa Ginos relocates and expands to the flagship location at 430 New State Hwy, Raynham — a larger, beautifully designed space that allows us to serve even more guests with the same family warmth.

2018

Online Ordering Launches

Embracing the digital era, Papa Ginos launches online ordering and delivery services, making authentic Italian food accessible to even more families throughout southeastern Massachusetts.

2024

Serving 500,000+ Guests

A landmark milestone: Papa Ginos celebrates serving over half a million guests. The menu grows with seasonal specials, and catering services expand to cover corporate and private events statewide.
